# Meet your Fyxer agent

One agent that knows your work, wherever you are.

### What's an agent? <a href="#whats-an-agent" id="whats-an-agent"></a>

An agent is AI you can hand a task to. You tell it what you need in plain words. It finds what it needs from your work and gets the task done.

Fyxer already does a lot without being asked. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies, and takes notes in your meetings. The agent is how you ask it for something specific when you need it.

### Why use one <a href="#why-use-one" id="why-use-one"></a>

Work now comes at you from email, meetings, and chat, all at once. It's easy for the things that matter to slip. An agent helps in a few ways:

* **You stop searching.** Ask "What did we agree with \[company name] on pricing?" and get the answer pulled from your emails and meeting notes
* **Nothing waits for later.** You can hand the task over as soon as it comes in. Or you can set the agent up to take proactive action
* **It remembers what was said, and where.** An agent keeps track of your conversations across email, meetings, and chat, so anything it writes or does starts with the full picture

***

### How it works

Your Fyxer agent works from your Fyxer context: your emails, calendar, meeting notes and transcripts, files you've uploaded, and any Spaces you're in.

You can ask it to:

* Find an email, a decision, or who said what in a meeting
* Draft a new email or a follow-up
* Book or move a meeting
* Run a task for you on a schedule, like a daily briefing
* Show you how to do something in Fyxer

You stay in charge. Fyxer only takes the actions you’ve set up or approved.

{% hint style="info" %}
Everything you ask adds to your context, so Fyxer gets more useful over time.

### One agent, wherever you work

You can reach your Fyxer agent from lots of places. It's the same agent each time, working from the same context. So you can start something in Chat and pick it up in Slack.

<table data-search="false"><thead><tr><th>Where</th><th>How to reach it</th><th>Good for</th><th>Learn more</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Fyxer Chat</strong></td><td><a href="https://app.fyxer.com/">Dashboard</a> → Chat</td><td>Longer questions, drafting emails from scratch, voice mode, asking for help using Fyxer.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/using-fyxer-chat-for-search-answers-and-drafting">Using Fyxer Chat for search, answers, and drafts</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Your inbox</strong></td><td>Reply to any email Fyxer sends you, or forward an email to Fyxer </td><td>Asking about an email without leaving your inbox.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/chat-with-fyxer-from-your-inbox">Chat with Fyxer from your inbox</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Slack</strong></td><td>Message @Fyxer in a channel or DM</td><td>Searching your emails and meetings, drafting replies, booking meetings, and more, without leaving the conversation.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/connect-fyxer-to-slack">Fyxer in Slack</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Microsoft Teams</strong></td><td>Message @Fyxer</td><td>Searching your emails and meetings, drafting replies, booking meetings, and more, without leaving the conversation.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/connect-fyxer-to-microsoft-teams">Fyxer in MS Teams</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Flows</strong></td><td><a href="https://app.fyxer.com/">Dashboard</a> → Flows</td><td>Handing over repeat tasks.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/set-up-fyxer-flows">Set up Fyxer Flows</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Spaces</strong></td><td><a href="https://app.fyxer.com/">Dashboard</a> → Spaces</td><td>Surfacing everything your team knows about one client, deal, or project.</td><td><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/get-started-with-fyxer-spaces">Get started with Fyxer Spaces</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Claude and ChatGPT</strong></td><td>@Fyxer in a new chat</td><td>Bringing your Fyxer context into the AI tools you already use.</td><td><ul><li><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/connect-fyxer-to-claude">Connect Fyxer to Claude</a></li><li><a href="https://support.fyxer.com/article/connect-fyxer-to-chatgpt">Connect Fyxer to ChatGPT</a></li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table>

You might not see Flows or Spaces yet. We're rolling out these features gradually as we test and refine them, so availability will vary. We'll keep this article updated as things evolve.

### See it in action

Mike is in a Slack thread when his manager asks whether the proposal went out. He doesn't open his inbox. He types:

> @Fyxer did the \[company name] proposal go out, and has Sophia replied?

Fyxer finds the email and tells him Sophia hasn't replied yet. Mike asks again in the same thread:

> Draft a short nudge to Sophia, and mention the timeline we agreed on Tuesday's call.

Fyxer drafts a short message to Sophia, with the Tuesday detail pulled from his meeting notes, and adds it to Mike's Slack drafts. He sends the message and answers his manager, all without leaving Slack.

### Try it now

Pick one and ask it wherever you are:

* "What do I need to know before my next meeting?"
* "What did I promise to send people this week?"
* "Draft a follow-up to \[name] confirming what we agreed today."

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.fyxer.com/get-started/meet-your-fyxer-agent.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
